Who we are

Barakah Abaya is a modest-fashion label based in Karachi, Pakistan, selling online at barakahabaya.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you shop with us, and how we use it.

What we collect

To process an order we collect your name, WhatsApp number, delivery address, and (optionally) your email. We contact you on WhatsApp to confirm order details and keep you updated while it is made.

We also keep a record of your orders and of any messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email.

If you join a waitlist for an out-of-stock piece, we collect only your email or WhatsApp number, whichever you give us.

If you create an account, we also store any delivery addresses you save to it and the pieces you add to your wishlist.

How we use your information

We use your details only to process, verify, deliver, and support your orders, including sending order updates over WhatsApp, and to answer your questions. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

If you join the waitlist for a piece that is out of stock, we use your email or WhatsApp number only to tell you when it is back, and for nothing else.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum information necessary with the partners that fulfil your order: our delivery courier and the WhatsApp Business platform (for order messages). The deposit is sent by you directly through your own bank or mobile wallet app, so we never see or store your card, account, or wallet credentials; we only know that the payment arrived.

How long we keep it

We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp or emailing [email protected].

If you joined the waitlist for a restock notice, you can ask us to remove you at any time and we will stop messaging you about it. Order updates are not optional: we send those so you know the status of what you have paid for.
